Who we are
Granted Global provides business visa application assistance. We are a private service and are not affiliated with any government agency, embassy, or consulate. You can reach us at support@grantedglobal.com for any question about this policy or about the information we hold on you.
What we collect
We only collect what you send us. There is no account system on this site and you do not need to register to use it.
Contact and quote forms
When you submit an enquiry we receive your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the destination you selected, and the message you wrote. Corporate enquiries additionally include your company name, industry, job title, company size, and expected application volume.
Visa requirement checker
The checker takes a nationality and a destination to return a requirement summary. That combination is processed to generate the answer and is not stored against your identity.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It is loaded only after your first interaction with the page, so visitors who arrive and leave immediately are not tracked. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes an abbreviated IP address to derive approximate location and device type. We do not use it to identify you personally and we do not run advertising or remarketing pixels.
Why we process it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote for the service you asked about.
- To prepare and submit a visa application on your instruction, where you engage us to do so.
- To keep records of the advice we gave and the filings we made, as a professional service is expected to.
- To measure, in aggregate, which parts of the site people find useful.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to one, our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service, and consent for analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run the site:
- Hosting and content delivery — serves the pages and handles form submissions in transit.
- Transactional email provider — delivers your enquiry to our inbox and our reply to you.
- Business email provider — hosts our mailboxes, where the correspondence then lives.
- Google Analytics — aggregate site usage measurement, as described above.
If you engage us to prepare an application, the documents and details necessary for that application are submitted to the relevant embassy, consulate, or their appointed visa application centre. That is the point of the service, and we will tell you specifically which authority receives what before submitting anything.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data moves out of the UK or the EEA, we rely on the provider's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it, then deleted. Records relating to applications we filed are kept longer, because a prior filing is relevant to any future one and because we may need to evidence what was submitted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent for analytics. Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have equivalent rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these, email support@grantedglobal.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies of its own for tracking. Google Analytics sets its cookies only after your first interaction with the page. You can block or delete them through your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on, without affecting how the site works.
Children
This site is aimed at business travelers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Where a corporate client asks us to prepare an application for a minor accompanying a business traveler, that information comes to us from the client under their instruction.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and move the date at the top. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made silently.
